چکیده
In this study, the larva and pupa of Agrilus adelphinus are described illustrated. DNA barcoding ( COI gene) was used to associate larval pupal stages with adults based on maximum-likelihood method. resulting phylogenetic tree, species from same species-group were found be clustered a branch high support value. To better understand A. , complete mitochondrial genome also sequenced annotated. Comparing known mitogenomes species, newly is shorter, 15,732 bp. However, its whole mitogenome composition gene orientation consistent that most Buprestidae. ATGATAG sequence observed between ATP8 ATP6 which ATGATAA in other insect mitogenomes. Leu2, Phe, Ile, Gly, Ser2 five frequently encoded amino acids. The results further prove can remove limitation traditional taxonomy cannot identify all developmental stages. This study provides valuable molecular morphological data for identification analyses genus .

Revision of the Agrilus occipitalis species–group (Coleoptera, Buprestidae, Agrilini)
The Agrilus occipitalis species-group is redefined and diagnosed. Two species from this group, Agrilus auriventris Saunders, 1873 and Agrilus occipitalis (Eschscholtz, 1822), are known as the serious pests of cultivated Citrus trees. Overall twenty-three taxa are included in the Agrilus occipitalis species-group. A complete list of references, type material, species examined and distribution is...
